My fabulous husband made some really good reubens for supper. They were really good! After dinner we had a mini Christmas with one another. We couldn't wait to give our gifts to one another...
Even the wrapping paper was cute. :-) Gotta love our cutesy nicknames on the package.
I got "Across the Universe" (my new movie obsession) and Bill Bryson's "Life and Times of the Thunderbolt Kid" (a book I've been wanting to read FOREVER!)

The presents are super cute (across the universe is amazing!), but what I noticed the most was that somebody is sporting a new haircut?!?!?! :)
Jen- You MUST read "A Walk in the Woods". I'm really excited for Thunderbolt Kid because it takes place in good ole Des Moines and Jake and I are seeing the play version of it this Spring.
ReplyDeleteBeri- Yes, I'm a sporting a new haircut but it's not looking super stellar in the pic because I had played with it too much and it got poofy. :-) She took time with me and showed me how to work with the straightening iron and the big round brush (seriously, I am hair dumb)-- I think I got the hold of it and might actually sport a straight look every once in awhile!YAY!
